Introduction

Course consists of 3 full days with a minimum of 18 hours contact time.

Valid for 3 years from qualification date for those who meet the required criteria.

Spaces are limited to a maximum of 12 people on any one course.
Aim

Enable individuals to provide effective first aid to a casualty in the workplace, using materials at hand & approved first aid equipment.

First Aid at Work (FAW) - Initial
Included
- Compliance with current legislation, with a maximum of 12 individuals per course.
- First Aid at Work manual per student.
- Continual assessment of students by trainer, with final assessment by accredited assessor.
- Skills demonstrations, practice & question & answer sessions, to give a well balanced interactive learning experience.
- Official certification of qualification.

- It is highly recommended for skills to be refreshed annually by completing an annual fresher course.
